I was fixing video links and found and then watched this video an at the 1:10 minute time mark I shove the pad against my hand and press hard - then show my hand - no blood.

If it doesn't hurt my hand skin - it's not going to hurt your car's paint.

This will hold true for any free spinning random orbital polisher.

But......... NEVER let the edge of a free-spinning pad touch your fingertip.

I inadvertently did this as I was cleaning a pad with a pad brush once. Instant burn/blister about the size of a BB.

Not like anyone (hopefully) would bring a free-spinning pad edge up to the paint, but .......... Just sayin'.
