Seems To Me Like Another Low Wash Season

Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm just getting old and lazy, maybe I have my techniques dialed in better, but last year it hardly seemed like the cars needed to be washed...we had very little rain, and combined with coated wheels and low-dust pads, things just didn't get dirty.

This year we have had more rain, but it's been big storms and it seems to just wash all the dirt off a protected car rather than leaving dirty spots. I actually haven't done a conventional wash this year, other than wheels, which is not helping me with my goal to use up my supply of conventional wash by 2025. It's been all rinseless.

What about you other members?

I wash once or twice a week, but yeah, they arnt very dirty.

I haven't done a 1B wash + hose since 2013. Went with coatings on trim/tires/wheels/paint (but not windows) 3 years ago. Power washes at a coin-op, RW/WW in my garage winter and summer as needed. Marring is limited due to perfecting my own washing/drying methods and using the proper MF towels. My next hose wash will be sometime in 2017.

I usually wash twice a week, sometime a 3rd wash the night before a cars and coffee just to give it a little "kick". I usually mix it up between a RW or WW, depending where I'm at because while at work its always the WW. As far as wheels go I have been using the wheel cleaner but now that I have the Sonax rim shield on I'm going to see how they come out with simple RW pre-treatment solution.

I just like the act of keeping the car clean because its soooooo much easier with RW and WW's compared to the old soap and water method of the last century, its the only thing I'm "hi-tech" on, so for me to say this is actually pretty funny.

Maybe its just my paint but I get NO marring with the RW and WW I've been doing but I always use a lot of solution, along with edgless mf towels and always roll my towel to keep the cleanest surface available. That said, I don't remember the last time I did the old hose and bucket wash but I have used the quarter wash from time to time but that's just to get into the all the nooks and crannies.
