Sell me a spray wax!!!

I'd recommend a Blackfire product as well, but I'll go sealant vs wax.

BLACKFIRE Deep Gloss Spray Sealant, spray wax, paint sealant spray

I used Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax for several years, but am really liking this product right now. UQW on my black metallic car would look amazing, but it would mute the flake. The Wet Diamond is more "glassy" and allows the flake to really pop in sunlight.

Maybe I'm applying the spray wax wrong. I spray directly on the car. No matter how careful I am, I seem to get overspray on already finished areas that I need to go over again or I miss areas that I did get overspray on then it dries spotty because I missed it. I like the idea of spraying on a towel or pad first, wiping it on, then buffing dry.

I prime a towel with a few sprays and then do only like 1 or 2 sprays per panel. Maybe try spraying by slowly compressing the trigger so the product comes out in a spray of much less pressure

For those who recommend the Black Fire Midnight Sun Carnauba Spray Wax.
Is this also a polymer based spray wax, along with the carnauba, by any chance?

Yes it is... BlackFire's "wet diamond" polymers

I have both the TW spray wax&dry and spray carnauba wax, just have not tried them yet.

More of a spray sealant but Wolfgang Spritz Sealant. Doesn't streak even when used in excess and on warm panels. Very slick finish and best of all doesn't attract dust. I've been trying to find a spray LSP for awhile now that doesn't attract dust and I think I've found it.
OCW can streak badly on warm paint and it attracts dust in my experience.
Liquid Souveran was ok but I only have experience from a sample bottle.
Prima Hydro was ok. Nothing outstanding about it IMHO. Can't go wrong with it.
Megs UQW attracts dust.
Sonax BSD was very grabby and the aggressive water behavior isn't that important to me because it hardly rains here.

I will second, third, fourth and fifth Blackfire Spray Wax. Its a really really nice one. I have also been a long time fan of what is now McKee's Fast Wax.

And I spray right on the car and wipe. You are not doing it wrong.

You guys are the best!!! I think I have it narrowed down to Aquawax & Midnight Sun. Thanks!!!

I really like Aquawax. It's more of a candy/glassy gloss- but I really like how it seems to resist dust better than some other products I've tried. And great longevity.

I really like DG951(Aquawax) super easy to use no staining and looks nice. I Also use another that is not sold here but looks fantastic! Pm me if you are interested.

2nd post in and its also my choice, although FrankenDetailer is also awesome!

If you buy the AW get the gallon, you can thank me/us later.

McKee's is very nice, I have to say. I was always a D156 guy, but I can say McKee's is at least as good. Easy to use, looks great (IMHO), and is decently priced.

AW is another nice one. I havent used it much in the past few years, but perhaps I should revisit it. I've also heard good stuff about the Griot's product.

Does the Blackfire Spray Wax work well as a drying aid also?

They don't mention it in the product description.

Ive used AW a little and it was good product. For some reason I don't like the smell of it though, not enough to make me not use it.

I have a gallon of Opt Car Wax, 90% of the time I use this on customers vehicles. It feels slick right after you apply it. I have hosed it down right after application and it beaded better the next day next to Pinnacle Spray Wax. Pinnacle beaded better right after application. To prevent streaking when hot, just cool the panel down with a wipe of rinseless, or flood the panel first.

I also like to use Meguiars Shine As You Dry Quik Wax on wheels and it also seems to give some plastics a dressed look.

It can be used as a drying aid but it's not quite the best there. The blackfire polymer spray is better as a drying aid. It's also good for Windows. I usually do the poly spray when drying then go over it with the Midnight Sun spray wax as a finisher.

Wolfgang Spritz Sealant!!!

I think maybe that people are scared off by the price of this. But it certainly should be tried!

It's Excellent at repelling dust!

After it cures it is VERY SLICK!

And if you like the GLOSS of WG DGPS 3.0, then this is the Spray Wax for you!
