Hi All,

Considering selling my Audi S4 for something different. The car I'm looking at (Honda Accord Touring V6) will be coming straight from the factory. I have already told the dealer do NOT do any type of exterior detailing other than a basic hand wash to the car so I can do my own thing. The sales manager is very OCD like myself and is onboard with this.

Couple of questions:

1) Will the paint be cured by the time I receive it and ok to detail?
2) I have tried sooooooooo many products and fallen in love with the DG family of products. Should I do the 501/601 followed by 111//601 or should I use 105/601 followed by 111/601 on a new car? I plan to iron X and nanoskin the car prior to any sealants/waxes.
3) Any tips on how to clean the DG products from my Flex pads?

Thank you

Dont let them even wash it. I'm scheduling a replacement of the front spoiler of my Challenger Scat Pack because the dealer prep guys scrubbed the texture right off of a spot right in the middle of it.

I'll let others with DG experience chime in there.

Paint is baked at the factory and well cured by the time a person buys it.

Going from a B8.5 to an Accord V6? They are nice cars and have some nice features but you're if not a performance guy I suppose you'll be fine. If you are a performance guy you won't.

I've had multiple BMW's, two Lexus, a MINI (I LOVED my Cooper S) and more prior to the S4 and the Audi runs circles around them. I'm ready to move on from German cars and the associated expense. I've had my fun smoking just about everyone I choose in this sleeper with its 0-60 time of 4.4 and grip so amazing tenacious is an understatement. But where I am and with what I need right now I'm ready to go a different route.

Any thoughts on the DG?

DG users - should I use DG 105 or 501 on a new car?
