I've been using TW since it came out. I simply cleaned them really good, none of this 10x'w nonsense.

Exactly. Who feels like jumping though a million hurdles just to coat some tires... With the TW, just 1 solid cleaning is all it took.

i see the megs ceramic items changing the game for teh average consumer... im intrested to hear my clients "bring it up" during out conversations.

I am curious on how durable it will be. My guess is: Not very. Probably gonna be a 6 month product, the ceramic will just help with water beading and sheetings but without the resin, it will fail when the wax or sealant aspect of it does.

Could still be a good product, depending how durable it is and how expensive it is.

The consumer needs to understand how to apply it, there's like 3 different ways right now if I'm counting right. Need to know to apply a base coat and how to do it and then maintenance applications and how to do it, this alone could make it a failure....sadly

With my "average" client they still wax a few times a month so even if they applied this and sprayed off during every wash I think it would still do great and it would offer much better protection. Remember most people just want a shiny car and smell good interior and they are good to go

Got in on a pre-order for Meg's hybrid ceramic wax from another company and when it arrived the product was leaking out all down the sprayer. This is the replacement bottle I received. Now I will not nor need to mention where I got this from because it isn't important, what IS important is this, they (Mequiars) need to revamp their sprayers, it's not like they don't have the resources, my God, they've been in business since the beginning of the 20th century! They have to know about it too. Btw, while they're taking care of that, they REALLY need to do something about the directions with this product! There's a number of ways people are using it and misusing it and the later could be user error ofcosrse but bad word travels fast as we know.

The base of the sprayer is stationary but the upper half is spinning like Linda Blairs head in "The Exorsist", spewing out blue pea soup instead of green pea soup, where's my cross at, LOL.

This is my own PSA to my fellow Geeks, heads up on this.

Yeah, they need to address the sprayers here so people can actually use the product, I mean not everyone has spare sprayers sitting around

I've been using TW since it came out and still have a couple bottles left and just recently coated my wife's tires with it. I simply cleaned them really good, none of this 10x'w nonsense. I used 303 Tire and Rubber cleaner and my Mother's Tire and Wheel brush. Sprayed it on, let it dwell, scrubbed and rinsed. Dried the tire and let it air dry afterwards further. I then applied a single coat and let it dry, done! The only other tinted tire coating I know of that's very similar to TW is Black Pearl and they even have several finishes available, an impressive, quiet product for sure!!

How do you like the 303 T&R cleaner? I’m looking for something that won’t stain my matte wheels if it gets on it. 303 says safe for all wheels.

This is a great product in a great size too, 32 ounce bottle. It doesn't stain your wheels and I know this is a legit question because on low profile tires you always get something on the edge of the wheels.

Check your PM

Watched a video on youtube about this product yesterday... looks like it's really, really crappy!

The guy first tried the wet application, like using CarPro Hydro2... result: No beading or sheeting at all!

Then he did a wiped in application, result: uneven across the panel. Some parts of the panel looked like there was no LSP on it at all, other part sheeted a little bit.

Very disapointing to see that from such a great company.

Check out Apex Detailing, Brian has different ways to use it which seem to work, confusing product so far...and then the bottle/sprayer issues

Just checked his video. Really not sold on this product. Nothing I have seen so far makes me want to try it. Feels like the other products I have are doing a better job in all aspect (gloss enhancement, protection, water behaviour). Maybe it's super durable, but none of the test have shown that, otherwise, it doesn't compare when it comes to water beheviour or gloss enhancement. I am sure we will get more comments as people start trying it.

What part of the directions are considered confusing? Can we get specifics?

As far as it being “disappointing” when used as a spray and hose off on the initial application like Carpro Hydro, why would you knock it based on that when as far as I know it clearly says the 1st application has to be spray and wipe? Reason I’m saying is because Meguiars has always been consistent when it comes to their directions being clear and easy to follow.. Could they have suddenly flunked that bad with the directions on this label? More info please...

As far as the sprayer? I dunno, you’re making me want to buy a bottle of this now.

Well, 2 bottles, 2 leakers and the place I bought it from is having a nightmare with these issues.

How do you know they’re having a nightmare? Because they told you?

From the sounds of the free spinning sprayers, I’m assuming they’re similar to the Extreme Marine Product Line. I had 3 of those bottles and I had good luck with them working without any leakage.

Did you watch the video? He did apply it as a wipe on with the second try and it still did not sheet water. Then he did the whole car and it was streaking. On the video from Apex detail he did not have these issues, but the product was barelly beading water... his comment was, you can see a slight difference from the unprotected area...

When you use Hydro2, it's super hydrophobic without having to apply with a wipe method first. So as a competitor to that, it's a major fail.

As a normal wowo product, all the other ones perform much better in terms of gloss enhancement and sheeting/beading.

So where does this product fit in the the arsenal? It's underperforming both of the products it's supposed to compete against.

Again, if the durability is amazing, then maybe it could be usable, but it still not giving the type of visual enhancement other products are giving... so why use it?
