SEMA Giveaway!

Here's my '86 Ford F150. My father-in-law was the original owner. Doesn't look too bad for a 23 year old truck.

Last up, a 2005 Chevy Avalanche with custom painted panels and chrome wheels.

Polished with Menzerna polishes and finished with PB Natty's Blue paste wax. The taped area along the side panels is to protect the custom pin striping which was a Florida State Seminole arrowhead. It was nicely painted.

This is my entry. I started making purchases from Autogeek back in May of this year. I had never really taken detailing seriously, so I still have some typical over the counter stuff. Well, a lot has changed since then. I cannot believe how much of an addiction this has become. My wife thinks I am crazy considering I take care of only our three cars!

My primary go to products include, but sure not limited to:
DP Auto Shampoo
Finish Kare 425
Just switched to Dodo Juice Blue Harvest/Purple Haze combo
I think I own three dozen Cobra Indigo Microfibers, my favorite go to towel
Menzerna Polishes
Wolfgang Paint Sealant, Plastic Sealant and Metal Sealant, not sure how these don't get better attention
The Edge 2000 Pads

EDIT:
Found another picture during the detailing process. You can see all my microfibers and how they are organized, as well as some additional products that I use, mostly purchased from Autogeek. This is NOT a black car, but rather a midnight blue metallic. Not too shabby!

Here is my second entry and not your typical detailing entry for sure. As you can see from my previous post right above this one, I own a ton of Autogeek products. This is off my 2004 Honda Accord

My primary products used for these results include:
P21S Total Auto Wash
Misc Detail Brushes
Wolfgang Metal Works aluminum polish (just look at those AC lines!!!)
Duragloss APC
P21S Carnauba for the painted surfaces
Wolfgang Metal Sealant

EDIT: Did I mention this is a daily driver car? ;)

MY '10+" YEAR OLD "DAILY DRIVER".

AUTOGEEK PRODUCTS MAINTAIN YOUR VEHICLE LIKE A GEM--EVEN BETTER
THAN SOME PEOPLE'S NEW VEHICLES".

THIS SHOT IS A REFELCTION OF ME HOLDING THE PREMIER WAX IN MY HAND

There's no way I could get the vehicle I was working on this weekend to compete with some of the ones done in this thread by way of the exterior (it was an Black '01 Blazer that I do not believe had ever been waxed, just ran through the machine of death every day!).

However, I did spend quite a bit of time on some areas with my Autogeek supplied products - and took pictures just for this thread. Don't know that I will win anything - but Autogeek has some great stuff at great prices that you can achieve great results with.

I suppose I am taking a different approach to this than most, and perhaps not exactly what you guys are looking for, but I stand amazed at what some of your guys products can do.

Let's start with the lovely interior:
All interior surfaces (carpet, plastic, seats, rubber, everything but glass) were cleaned with DP Total Interior Cleaner.

After: (My apologies for the camera artifacts - it's just an old 4mp point and shoot. I can assure you that the entire area was properly dressed).

A couple of general interior afters:

The wheels and tires needed some loving as well:

About to get clean with some Poorboys Spray and Rinse and Meg's APC+:

After: (again, sorry about photo quality).

Tail lights needed some attention:

Thanks to Meguiars PlastX applied via PC7424XP and Orange LC Pad after #0000:

Side mirrors before:

After NXT (apply it via rotary on low speed and polish...used green Edge pad - works great on these GM mirrors):

And perhaps my favorite before and after:

a5.JPG

If you haven't used the XMT Pad cleaner, it is an excellent value. I have been using that bottle for 6 months or better, and it is still half full.

And just so you can see the entire vehicle:

After (although not yet finished*):

I was doing this one for someone that wanted it sold asap. So I had to bust it just to get done. The interior was my focal point, as that is what the person taking the test drive is going to see. So I just did a paint cleanse on the outside and topped it with 'nuba.

I didn't get many pictures, because as soon as I got it done, it was sold within an hour sitting out beside the road!

Probably not a good case for this thread, but quite a turnaround none the less I think.

While I had my camera out - I happened to capture the most beloved sight in all of the Autogeek Community...

Hope you enjoyed.

I used Fuzion on my car and was very impressed by the results. After finishing, I took the car outside and when I stepped back I thought Wow! :props:
