SEMA Pictures - Velocity Live! - Hosted by Chris Jacobs!

For the last 3 years in a row Velocity has put on a "live" show including a strong selection of the stars on the Velocity channel.

This event is open to anyone with SEMA credentials with the front section reserved for partners, customers and sponsors of Velocity programs.

This year they changed the format to resemble the format used by late night talk shows like Conan in that Chris Jacobs the host has his own desk, some chairs to the side for his guests and a live band!

After each of the Velocity stars has spent some time with Chris and the audience in a one-on-one interview session all the Velocity stars return for a time of questions and answers.

:)

I took this selfie pic to give perspective. The front stage is about arms reach in front of me.

That's Joe from Garage Squad behind me to right and about 3 more rows back you can see JD from Dallas Car Sharks.

I saw it last year, was really cool. Opted to go to the Global Rally Cross this year which was at the same time, in the cold, and rain.

Here's Chris rocking with the band...

Very cool Mike!
Any questions or answers that stood out from that group of gearheads?

Very cool Mike!

Besides shooting the first episode of our TV show, the Velocity Cocktail Party, going out to dinner with friends I'd have to say going to the Velocity Live show is one of the highlights of SEMA.

Any questions or answers that stood out from that group of gearheads?

There was one question asked three times by three different people that had the same theme and here's a paraphrase,

Do you have any tips for people just getting into the business side of the car hobby?

Actually if you look at these two pictures, this first guy was from Brazil and he asked the above question....

And this gentleman also asked the above question and also volunteered to be the host of any new Velocity TV show in the future.

And Chip Foose and Mike Brewer both answered these question the same way, and what they said was follow your passion.

I'd have to agree with both Chip and Mike and in fact I have an article that shares this same idea,

Do you want to have a career in the car industry?

I list 5 goals to aim for and the first of the five is,

Follow your passion...
For anyone reading this that would like to work in the car industry, there's nothing stopping you... find a niche area that excites you and you feel passionate about and start working at it.

Good question, thank you for asking...
