Sequencing of coatings

I’m detailing my new car soon (i30N hatch) and have both a trim and paint coating to go on.

Wondering if anyone has a set order they follow for the two or any tips when applying both on how to sequence them, noting one could get on the other unless taped off I guess. The gyeon trim doesn’t need to be leveled, so that helps.

I would do trim after but I don’t have sound reasoning.
 
Yeah trim after has always been my way. No idea why..,

I was thinking trim before as I’d rather get paint coating accidentally on a fresh trim coating than other way around, shrugs*
