Setting your polisher down

They should make some sort of platform on these polishers so they stay flat and level on the ground, always wonder why someone hasn't done that already.

The new Rupes MKll polishers have that.

I just scabed together a 3 sided box, the side are about 3" high. If it wants to tip, it just leans against on one of the 'long sides'.

Do you have a picture of what you did?

I have one of those stools with the red cushion and a tray at the bottom.

Put the polisher, rags, and product on the clean tray and good to go.

If I'm doing serious work, I pull my cart out to the car, and use both.

I'm surprised nobody makes s simple wire stand you could put the polisher and pad face down and keep it clear of the floor.

They have them for soldering guns!!

No pics, but here's the idea.

Remember this was just scabbed together with some left over lumber. Couple of screws and it was finished. No cutting, drilling, or even measuring. Pure "Red Green" building.

Imagine a box...about a foot long and 5-6 inches wide with sides (~3" high) only 3 sides (2 long one short). The only 'trick' is to have the long sides only about as long as necessary. In other words, they only are about a third of the total box length. Makes it a lot easier to grab rather than having to dig into a 'box'.

Make sense?

Never put my polishers on the ground, either on a bench, cart, or in the bag.

I have a local iron works guy that will make a stand.

All I have to do is give him a diagram.

So I might design one and get him to make it.

Will be like a soldering gun stand only bigger.

I Can't really add, upside down on my cart.....

I like that belt! Like a holster but for your polisher!

I thought of fabricating a holder of some kind for my cart.

Sometimes I feel like I need a holder for my cat. Lol.

It had rained the night prior, so with the ground extra wet, she was tracking mudd this particular morning. I turned around and found her here...

Sometimes I could use a little sidecar for her on my detailing cart. Lol.

Oh, love cats!

My Wookie Fist looking cat always lays down when I'm doing stuff!

Cleaning firearms, he takes over the mat I use to lay out the gun when it's stripped, of course leaves hair all over it..... He would lay on my reloading bench. I actually got a hair crimped in a .45 bullet, white hair sticking out of the side of the case with bullet. Don't know how the hair didn't get cut!
