With the info about the transparent covers helping breed problems and solid color covers blocking the view of the filter to see it condition , I have given thought to mounting a filter system to a board or whatever so I can take it inside when finished , then seal it up in the dark . Anyone have thoughts on that idea ? Suggestions also.

I work in the Waste Water industry. So I have a heads up on all the different things in water. I have a General Ionics treatment system in my home. This is the same system that goes on all space flights. NASA uses these. I also use this water in my detail business. The results are unbelievable. No water spots,less shampoo or ONR is needed. It really helps when adding chemicals too.
