I wonder how it would look if it read (Esthetique Detailing)

Instead of

Esthetique Auto
Montreal Car Detailing

So right off the bat you knew right away it was Detailing, and what you did/do

The colors look beautiful and the design is great btw

Just my opinion, please take my criticism lightly :)

Thing is, Esthétique Auto Montréal is the name of the company. I added car detailing for englsih customers. We live in a truely bilingual town here in Montréal so both French and English needs to be present if we don't want to loose 50% of the business.

Oh Canada? Lol

Yeah... Yeah you guys have some different lingo out there..,

Either way great for trying, besides what I brought up. It looks great. Kinda makes me wish I added a car design to my cards. (Thumbs) :)

Pls remember this is just my opinion... I'll let others chime in.

thats a real nice business card! now, combining 2 topics, why don't you use this design for your website, the car from the verso as background, faded at 60% or something like that? it's nice, simple and looks real good

Nah, background is not faded at all. Well, left side is a little, I did not want a clean break so I used a fading gradiant to merge it to black where the image ends on the left side. But the car itself is 100% opacity.

For my website I will start working on adding images once all the concept is in place. I really have no idea what I will put in but that sounds like a good idea to use the same kind of design as my business cards. Thanks for the idea, I will definatelly try it.

I designed about 30 different cards in the beginning. A friend of mine works for high end fashion and design people and she said also to keep it simple. Don't use shadows, stroke etc when using photoshop and stick to basic colors.

For the card itself I went matte and did spot uv for my logo so it has some shine and pop. The added benefit is I can write and sign the back for my referral program. This is what I ended up going with.

Some think the back is too busy but I wanted a referral program I could sell on spot and this is how I do it.

Sorry for the double post, something went wrong there.

I mentioned no shadows as well but for the back of my design the shadows made the text more visible. In a design world I didn't do it "perfect" but at the end of the day you have to be happy with what you are going to have representing you.

I paid $65 for 1000 cards in 16pt matte, color both sides and spot uv on both sides.

KISS.... Keep It Simple Stupid (not anyone in general either)

I liked this card, I read the whole card throughout.

Ya my old one was definitely too busy and young lol.

For anyone curious. These are the first two designs I started with.

I think you misunderstood. I meant, why not usethe same background as on the verso side for your website background, but use it as a website background faded 60% to keep reading easy

Hello AGians,

Today was my first day as a weekend warrior! Worked on a 2011 WRX hatchback. It was pretty exciting :) Here is my business card design!

This card looks great... I like how it states what you work on.

Luxory, Exotics, Sports

Hope you took before an after pictures. Lets see! :)

Thank you guys. Funny story, I shattered my arm snowboarding in February so I had alot of time on my hands. I just searched google and YouTube for things I liked and started watching and doing tutorials.

5 months later I now am ready to launch, just need some more projects for before and after pics.

A big thing is to keep your logo consistent (website, business cards and for me vehicle logo)

I know a fair amount of people who work design, selling, marketing etc and all the tips from them seem to be paying off.
