I plan to pick up a few of these

Sheepskin Wash Mitt

but the reviews have me worried. Anyone have any real experience with these? The mits I have right now are going on 3 years old and are still somewhat together.

I got the sheepskin as a gift for Christmas and I like it a lot. I use it every week to wash and it performs fine. I too was concerned about the reviews when I saw it for the first time, but it hasn't worn out or anything. I would buy it again.

I think if was spending that much on a wash mitt I'd just spend another 3 bucks for the Merino wool.
