Picked one of these up from AG a couple months ago and finally broke it out to use it this weekend. First wash and the seam blows out on it... Makes me :cry:as I was stoked to finally use it.

Sheepskin Wash Mitt

Don't know if its a fluke but the cheapo I got from meijers has lasted me over a year.

AG is simply amazing with their customer service.

Is this Mitt like a 10 pound Wet Bag... when you're washing your Vehicle ?

A few Weeks ago, I was using a Micro-Fibre Wash-Mitt... and it tired me out after I washed my entire Truck with it.

I'm looking at the Boar Brush with a Handle, instead of a Mitt.

If you're looking for just ease of use, I don't think you can beat having the wash media attached to an extension pole (BHB or others). It's like painting with a roller and wearing out your arms and shoulder then adding a pole. There is so much more work area being covered using less energy.

That said, I personally prefer the genuine sheepskin mitt. It doesn't hold nearly as much water as a MF mitt (less weight). The reason I like it is similar to the BHB benefit of easily releasing the dirt and grit when using 2 bucket method. I used my MF mitt only once because I couldn't rinse all the grime off in the rinse bucket. It just held onto the fibers.

I find the chenille mitts and even a thick soft MF towel the easiest wash media to use. They seem lighter and easier to minipulate into smaller recesses also.

....just thought I would add to this. I have had this mitt for quite some time now and it is hiolding up just fine. In fact, this is usually the point I have found lesser sheepskin mitts ready to be replaced (they begin to shed, etc.).

I seen this happen sometimes, just send us an email or give us a call on monday we will get you a replacement.

Sent an email but have yet to receive a reply.

I purchased two of the GS-50's (sheepskin mitts) back in early July, as I have heard that natural sheepskin mitts do not last very long (but they are so sweeeeeeet). I am still using the first one and it is in great shape. I wash my car at least once every two weeks, sometimes every week. It is important that when you are finished using it that you gently rinse it with cold water and GENTLY (not much pressure) squeeze the excess water out (do not wring it or twist it out) I then turn the mitt inside out and hang it on the edge of my bucket or sit it inside the bucket on the grit guard and let it dry out in the sun. On a sunny day it will dry in one day. I then turn it right side out and let the outside dry in the sun.. This method works great for me.. I LOVE my GS-50! It's like a premium massage for my car!!:xyxthumbs:

Got my replacement this week from AG, they replaced it with the same cheapo mitt that I can get from Meijers for under $10... I guess its okay if its going to last longer then then one I paid for BUT I could have saved my money on the extra cost and shipping and just went back to Meijer for another one. I can't even find the one they sent me in their store.
