SHINE IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT! Shelby Cobra meets the Microfiber DA system!

simply amazing, :dblthumb2::dblthumb2: def you know what you are doing, that full sanding really scare me

Incredible job. What a huge difference in depth and gloss. Sounds like the MF system works well. I can see it in my future.

woah... I know some BMW owners who would LOVE to meet you. lol That is outstanding work on a really crappy paint job.

WOW! Amazing job correcting the paint surface on this beast. Keep up the great work.

Car looks great. Out of curiosity did you take measurments of how much clear was removed through this process? I only ask since most OEM clears are very thin to begin with. Thanks.

Now all it needs is cquartz/opti-coat or c1 crystal laquer.

cuz that finish needs to be preserved!!

Just amazing your work is always a joy to see

Damn!!!! I seriously wish I could bring my car to you for some serious orange peel removal!! :xyxthumbs:

You are the man ....(and the other quy)Im the MANIm the MANIm the MAN

you are born for that job:buffing:

40 hrs of sanding! Thats impressive. Good thing you had those air tools and assistant.

The car came out immaculate. Seeing your pics makes me feel like sanding orange peel on paint now.

I keep hearing great things about the Meg MF pad and polish. I think I am going to try it on my Dad's Denali. :)

Wow, those are some amazing results and they show you have a lot of experience and trust in your work. As the owner of the car if I seen it dulled out I probably would have crapped myself.

Excellent job, I'm amazed at how rough the finish was from factory.

do you sand over the white stripes as well? is there a special precaution when a car has those "race" stripes? how about if it has pin striping? do you sand over that and machine or do you tape it off?

jamores, I have to ask... why do you seem to have such a fascination with sanding? :poke:

Maybe because he realized the beauty of a finish without orange peel? And he wishes to attempt such thing too??

No the stripes are decals. I do not sand over them. I do tape them off to protect them in case I slip.
