Shipping question

I got a message asking for a free sample. (Which I am happy to share)

My questions is can I put it on a box with the peanuts AG ships with. And not get in trouble? Since it will be an unlabeled bottle?

I am going to ship Pinnacle Waterless wash concentrate.
 
I don't understand? In an AG box? Really doesn't matter as long as the box is labeled correctly. (shipping and return address) Make sure to tape the cap very good though. ;)
 
don't reuse the packing peanuts . they are trademarked and protected by patent . if u save up 50 pounds or more , ag will buy them back from you and give you store credit . save the earth . anyways I have shipped out ww in 1/2 gallon milk carton jugs , unlabeled and I'm not in prison .
 
Thank you, I do plan on taping it up super nice. (But have been running around with college)

I said I was going to give out a sample, so that is what I am going to do.

Hopefully I don't get locked up lol
 
first of all, using "peanuts" to send someone something wouldn't even have crossed my mind as being illegal or whatever that feeling is that made you stop packing your package to create this thread...

but even if that was the case, I am sure the person who is receiving the package is going to be like...

"You gave me a sample...but I noticed you reused some of the AG peanuts...very bad, I am going to contact the authorities and you will be penalized..."

you really think anyone cares?
 
I think "poweraid" is using some tongue and cheek here.

That said, I've been reusing (or is that called regifting?) for years, sending birthday gifts, Christmas, ETC.

I wasn't asking about "peanuts"

I was asking about shipping an un labeled chemical. Which in this case is Pinnacle waterless wash concentrate.
 
As long as you're not shipping a box of heroin or C4 you're not going to get arrested. Just put tape around the lid and then place the bottle in a zip lock bag incase it busts.

If you're really worried about the no label issue, just keep what you want in a random jug and send the sample in the original container.

Another option (likely the best) is to call the post master and say " I want to send a friend a bottle of soap to try. Is there anything special I need to do?" I bet they could answer better than all if us.

I still have a gallon of the waterless wash (that's how good it is)

In reality I'm not really to concerned about getting arrested. Just don't want the sample to go to waste. Thanks for the zip lock bag advice will do.
 
yes I was just having some fun , no pun intended . carry on . u will be ok to ship in whatever u want , packed with whatever u want , labeled or not . whenever I send 2 more things out , they may go in clear bottles and I just simply write on it with a sharpie .
 
You should have rephrased the question so it didn't sound like you were worried about the packing peanuts.

Main question was: is shaping unlabeled bottle ok? With a random liquid.

I only WISH they'd buy them back! Although could you imagine how much space 50 pounds of those suckers would take up? Spare bedroom anyone!?!?!? :laughing:

No problem at all. If you were selling, and air freight, and internationally shipping, and doing it a truckload at a time... perhaps the MSDS (or whatever it is) being attached might be in order.

Seriously though, I don't see a problem at all. I've both shipped and received items that were nothing more than sample bottles with Sharpie written labels.

You'll not have any problems there brother.
