shmitt

I wonder if the Edge guy is looking at this thread and wonder if he could comment.

Yellow foam is the same on both however I agree that I would not use the yellow one because it will stain easily with brake dust and just look dirty all the time. Keep in mind we don't just throw products out without testing them and the black will not scratch your wheels, in fact we even tested it on paint and it did not scratch the paint but it does not feel silky soft so I don't think people will want to use it for paint. The black also has larger pores so the dirt drains out easier, it cleans better, and you will never see any black brake dust stains! Use the black for wheels, that is what we made if for.:)

My Shmitt just came in, can't wait to use it for washing, really supprised at how soft it is, seems even softer then the white Edge finihsing pad which is awsome. And I love that slightly coarser yellow side, perfect for my rocker panels and lower cladding on my suv.

Aaron, any news on the 4" pads? The two you made for me long time ago are still holding up fine! Orange isn't as still as it used to be but I used it like hell on spot buffing and glass etc.

You will love the ShMiTT!! So glad you got one! The much anticipated 4inchers will be on the market just after the 1st of the year. We are in production and should be shipping to our distributors soon after Jan 1st.

The Black ShMitt is superb, use it on wheels and tires all the time.

Easy to keep clean too, just dip it in water, squeeze and dip again, then wash.

I have also washed it in my machine washer, no problem. Almost not necessary, when the Black ShMitt dont "hold" the dirt, quik rinse with the hoose after use is all it needs.

Its on my WOW list.

Haha, if you look quickly it does look like a finger with a mini Scmitt, that's what you need Aaron. Finger Shmitts to get between tight or sharp spokes:righton:, like those finger applicator/microfiber pad things.

ahhah, all jokes aside, we were already working on just that!! Its going to be called The ShMiGiT!! ahahhha:awesome:

Some type of Wheelbrush ShMitt would be nice. In my head i already knows how it looks, works.

Make it like a Triangle about 30 cm long with a handel. And some soft white ShMitt at the end. Was also thinking about some type of squeezing system, so you could Squeez out the soap from the WB ShMitt when washing your wheels.

its not my finger...........or my arm....................jaiiajajaji

Go wash your eyes.....
