Shop vac, cleaned filter with water, will it dry?

I have a 5 year old rigid shop vac. I just sprayed the filter down, but I was wondering if it would dry. There is room for it to dry, but I also sprayed it down with air. It is still damp, but will it still dry out as I have to detail in a few days
 
I'm not sure where you live but it would dry out in a few hours here in SW Ohio right now if left in the garage. Make sure air can move all around it so put it on a grit guard or something.

Yes, the water will eventually evaporate. If you're really concerned about it, place it on something in the sun.
 
Trick: Always have two (02) filters. When ya wash one, just put the other in and let the washed one dry COMPLETLY.

But to your original question...yup it will dry. Put it in the sun and keep turning it over every once in awhile.
