sadly we are back to work monday! just a normal weekend since it fell on sunday. i did take friday off to extend it some. wow. biggest day of the year and you got to watch what you do. just not right. well, everyone at AG have a great holiday!!!

Yes I have to say really stinks falling on a Sunday, it's nice to get Christmas off but not when you already will be getting Sunday off! I think I will just take a few vacation days....:idea:
 
Hate to rub it in, but we have tomorrow and Monday off as holiday, our team leaves at 3 CST for our year end party. Then I'm on vacation all next week. Only have 57 working minutes left in 2011!

I currently am leaving early like 12 pm tomorrow and don't mean to rub it in either but I have Monday off and may take the whole week off to go skateboarding in Ohio but we'll see. Where do you work?

I feel your pain..Unfortunately I am unable to have tomorrow off and will be back at work on Monday as well. Just another weekend going by. Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

I understand, somewhat that is, how you must feel about the:
"Back to work on Monday" issue.

I'd rather sleep-in on Monday morning (12-26-2011) myself, but NOOOOOO!!!.
Instead, I''ll be preparing breakfast and packing a healthy lunch for the Wife as she must trudge off to her place of employment.

I will await her call, though, that will inform me of her safe arrival at her workplace...Then back to "nappersville" I will go.
[I'm basically done with: "Going-to-Work"...the rest of this year...and the next, and the next, etc., etc., etc.]

Her off-time for Christmas may be short...But my love for her keeps increasing by leaps and bounds. :D

Due to my "customers" being off on Monday, we are FORCED to take a vacation day. My business unit within my company does not recognize tomorrow or Monday off. So yep...gotta burn a vacation day.

Oh, now that just sucks!
 
WOW don't mean to be a a$$ but I work 12 hour shifts 17:30-05:30 fri, sat, and sunday. This really sucks since I'm have to sleep during the day just to get ready for work all night. I work at a Marathon oil refinery loading 300,000+ BBls on ships of different grades of gasoline, diesels, oils, light ends, etc. No break suppling the world with gasoline. Haha 2 days double time on the next check after christmas when I'm usually broke makes me feel better after.
 
So far I only worked one entire week all month... I have today off and Monday off... Half day Tuesday and next Friday off as well.

Realistically... I'm still going in today for a while and I'll probably work all day next Tuesday too.
 
I don't want to sound like I don't "feel your pain," but I am thankful to have a job to get up and go back to on Monday, 26 Dec.
