*First review so let me know how I did thanks*
Weather: 80-85, feels like 90 to me lol; Humidity 64%

Product: XMT 180 High Gloss carnauba wax

Product Container: 6oz black container just like souveran/sigII minus the O ring.

Product Characteristics: Soft purplish carnauba wax that’s smells like grape Kool-Aid and wax at the same time. My puppy liked the smell so much she almost got a good lick in lol.

Product Performance: Performs exactly how the label says, it claims sun or shade well I can vouch for the sun part. It is very sun (hot surface) friendly. I work with no shade and the wax was applied at 4:00pm so it was hot. I used as directed; I applied a thin layer of wax using a pinnacle yellow foam applicator to one panel at a time. I allowed it to haze (like directed) and removed before moving on to next panel.

Final thoughts: This is a high gloss wax. It has a darkening effect which does mute flakes in the paint. So for those who have flakes this will tone them down as well as the metallic. This wax would look awesome on solid colors (red/black comes to mind). It does however give a very crisp and clear reflection. It also leaves the surface quit slick to the touch (almost naughty :o). It is a joy to use and I can’t wait to finish up the car. Weather is getting a bit unpredictable (summer storms). As far as durability I have no idea………..yet ;) . If you have a solid color car this wax (with proper prep) will definatly please the eyes and not leave you wanting imo. I think Nattys Blue has some strong Competition as far as looks and ease of use go.

Total process:
* Washed using TOL Bubble bathe (AL-53 you were right this stuff is awesome)
* No clay needed did a month ago and surface is smooth
* Corrected paint using Optimum Compound and Edge Green pad
* Polished paint with Optimum Polish with Edge Blue pad
* Klasse AIO to remove any oils and leave a LSP ready surface for XMT 180 to rest on
* LSP XMT 180 High Gloss carnauba wax
Pics: (notice the flakes just aren't poping)

Great review, last reflections shoot was wicked

Now i got the Souveran, Poorboys red and XMT 180 in the basket, I know i dont need them all, but its hard too choose.....

Thanks for NOT helping Wystang....;):)

Excellent review....and the wax looks super wet...looks like another good product....last shot is super....

How would you compare the look as to 16 your fav....

It does look nice and crisp on the blue paint....

Thank you wytstang for taking the time to do this review for us. I think your wife's car was a great match for this wax. The color just pops! As for the smell it is very similar to the XMT carnauba finishing glaze, your dog has good taste if she liked it! :p

Very nice job, review and crew wytstang. Being a Pinnacle product I assume it went on and off easy.

great pre-release review .... you scored it first, and it looks like a winner !

180 is a bit more crisp/clear and slicker then #16 (definatly wetter). #16 needs glazes to accomplish what 180 does solo. I may try 180 on the mustang to see how it looks on Crystal White.

one suggestion .... need a long shot. Try shooting from 10 feet back off angle, so we can see entire goods and car. Usually will show reflectivity and gloss a bit better !

In his post he said he didnt finish car, they are getting the weather we had!

Was it easy to apply? Even in the sun after hazing?

Went on very smooth let it haze as directed and came off just as smooth and on a hot surface to boot.

Will try and finish it tommorrow (at least one side). SC is like FL during the summer, sunny and hot and the next minute the flood waters come down.

Good...looking at the finish on your Wifes car..I did say it looks crisp and clean...

the 180 looks real nice to me....

16 looks good on my red..but looks blah on gold...it does need a helper ...looks like 180 does it alone...very nice....

I bet the 180 would look super over the Menz glaze...thats wet stuff

I'm glad it passed the caveman test.

Thanks for the pre-release review! 180 looks like a real winner. I have some on order (along with the UDM) so I can't wait to try it out!

LOL yes it did and here's a little How it looks update. This wax should be reserved for solid colors. As I was driving away my wife took notice and told me the XMT 180 seemed flat and not as vibrant as SigII did on the rest of the car. I asked her what she meant by flat and she replied with the fenders and hood just look dark blue while the rest of the car shined and sparkled more.

That's great wytstang, now you have to do her car over with Signiture Series. Signiture Series is my favorite todate on metallics.

Ya Im still waiting for my tester to come in the mail. I'm doing my pastors dad's black chevy 1500 vortec max. I think it will be awesome tester. I'm doing it thursday afternoon. so we'll see!!
