Short initial XMT 180 wax review (picture heavy 56k good luck)

I'm going to finsh the car with 180 x2 and see how long it last before needing reaplication. Then Sig II all over it again as per her request. It will make it's way to the mustang as I'm curious as to how it looks on white.

Really enjoyed your review Wytstang Thanks for sharing. I'm anxious to see your follow up on your white Mustang with XMT 180.

That's great wytstang, now you have to do her car over with Signiture Series. Signiture Series is my favorite todate on metallics.

is liquid souveran good on metallics?

I don't think I have ever used Liquid Souveran on metallic paint. I like to use Liquid Souveran on white paint. I think it looks really great on white.

any chance you have some pictures before applying the wax?
I have some hood shots of Sig II and souveran but not just it bare.

i was curious about the difference with the paint nicely swirl free and then with the wax applied. Then we could evaluate its performance in the pics. oh well

That's a good idea the car isn't finished so if the weather allow I will continue tomorrow. I could get some half door or half rear quarter panel shots.

Looks like a good wax to try? Probably a good competitor to new Poorboy's Natty's Red...

Great review ! Looks real nice even if the flakes are not popin`
Do you think you could wax the whole car then wipe off?

I'm sure you could I just want to follow the directions to the tee. That way there are no fualts.

hmmm..be good on my red, but not my others, but I don't want to give up my Souveran paste. Very interesting post thus far - thanks for sharing. As Kllr mentioned, i see would be interested in seeing a shot from a distance, Wytstang.

Your wife's car looks awesome. Paint looks wet with a lot of pop. Thanks for taking the time to do this review. Buy the way I like grape kool-aid!:D

Sparkie no cleaners in it. Just a good old carnauba wax, its in the XMT Pinnacle line but still priced very nicely.

Very nice review...boy it's amazing how much you miss in just one day :D

Thanks for the great review looks like a nice product.

the other guy that posted about 180 said it made the flakes pop on the truck and not dull them... so which is it? getting two different things. thursday when i do that black solid truck i will try some on my wife's silver corolla, she's got a pretty good amount of flake on it

The car is complete here are the full car shots (weather 90* humidty 47%)
XMT on rear quarter panel Sig II on door you can see how darker it is

XMT all the way, it really darkens the paint

Bare paint as requested by Paradog (best one I could get due to the bright ass sun and glare)

I'll say it again it works well on hot surfaces. It's 90* and as it hazed I removed it with little to know hassle. I did however let it sit for 5+ minutes on 90*+ metal and yeah don't do that lol it will give you some trouble.
