Shoot it with a paint ball!!!! Even if that doesn't teach it to stay away from your truck, plastering him with orange paint for some revenge would be fun!!!

Sprinkle a little cayenne pepper in the engine compartment.

Good idea to posion him with the antifreeze. Since dogs and cats are attracted to the smell

It's also a quick trip to jail to busted (key word "if"). Have you talked to the neighbors first? If they don't do anything place a complaint to animal control. If nothing has helped from that point a large rat trap, and not the crap that captures them so you can release them. No, the one that snaps their neck for trespassing into your home type rat trap. That will stay with him forever.

Dont know whom he belongs too. I will try the rat traps and citrus as some have mentioned and a little bit of cayenne all at the same time. I dont like cats (i have2) but I really dont have the heart to kill the lil ####### just for being a cat unless all else fails. I do have a hav a heart trap I have used for racoons that will work...but even that is a last effort cuz once i employ that......he gets a one way to the pound.

call animal control, they will bring a cage. Add a can of tuna .... and call to pickup cage and cat in the morning. I think neighbors that cannot and do not take care of their own animals should be shot !

It is not your fault that your car has a coolant leak?

truth be told.....before I gruaduated from dishwashing liquid a few weeks ago.....to the other extreme

( for which I blame you guys and this forum ;) )

of detailing my vehicles......I really could not have cared less...but now I do, and I dont want him on my rides.....I will try alternate methods first, and if that fails, I will trap him.

I do have the 3 dogs but they are locked in the back yard and the vehicles are parked in front. I have a 4 car garage, but could not fit in another crescent wrench. Its a packed shop fulla toolz!!

Had that problem before cayenne pepper worked pretty good .No cat problem no more.

Start the engine while he is still sleeping on it perhaps? JUST to scare him of course.

Pet Deterrents:
Help your cat or dog learn good house manners by keeping them off furniture, work surfaces, vehicle hoods (bonnets) and out of selected rooms. ScatMat emits a mild, harmless, static pulse when your pet touches it. With three intensity levels ScatMat works and is safe for any size cat or dog –

the scat mat works. i hv used one. you can always use in indoors too if you two cats need training to keep off counters, etc.
another option is to provide a better outdoor place for it to sleep. engines are warm and cozy but it you have a small cat house with a light bulb for warmth, it will probably prefer that instead of your car.

duct tape + soda cans + can of tuna + beer = one freakin hilarious lesson learned by cat.
