I have a 70 Cutlass with a ram air type hood, I need to buff it out, but my buffer is way to big to get in the valleys, and contours of the hood, hood is sanded down to 2000 grit. I need a buffer that will cut good, what buffer should I buy? I don't what a buffer that will not cut! and foam pads are not cutting it. I have a 3" Griot's and a 5" Harbor freight, and nether one with a foam pad ( orange lake ) is working! should I buy a different buffer? or do I need a different pad? I called my local detailer and he said to many contours for him! what! He didn't even come and look at it, said he knew what the hood looks like and to much work for him.
