Should I seal or wax before putting bumper stickers on the paint?

Obviously my post was too subtle for wgarrjr. Allow me to explain.

I will never be as good as some of the pros here. It isn't my job, I don't have the passion that y'all do. I also noted the baby steps I've taken after reading these forums, concluding by saying maybe there is hope for me after all. I did not wish to insult or mock anyone, that would be very rude. Unlike wgarrjr, I prefer not to insult people and apologize profusely if I did. My attempt at humor was perhaps inappropriate for this forum.

Wgarrjr has made it clear that this forum is not for amateurs who are looking to get a little better. I wish y'all well.

WOW! This is really sad. I will cut and paste parts of my comments that have apparently been overlooked: "I honestly did not intend to offend anyone, and if I did, I am truly sorry." " I typed it while smiling, as the poster no doubt did too. These are the kind of comments that two men might make to each other in a good-natured way over a beer." "For the record, I welcome the new poster with a smile and a handshake. I appreciate his humor and his 33%."

So: I too did not wish to insult or mock you. I apologized. I applauded and appreciated your humor.

I cannot fathom where the idea came from that I "made it clear this forum is not for amateurs." Of course it is for amateurs. I hope you continue to enjoy your learning process, and I think that obsession with anything so trivial as a clean car is kind of funny. I thought your post made that point well. I will say that if you are parking close enough to your deer stand to see bird poop hit your truck, you sure hunt differently than we do here in Georgia. (This is another lame attempt at humor, so relax!)

What I don't agree with is that any member of this forum should be chastised by another with a sanctimonious opinion about what is necessary and who is welcome. When people take it upon themselves to unilaterally establish rules in a free public forum, it flys in the face of what this country is all about. Having spent more nights than I care to count in a cold, muddy, foxhole, I just naturally resent it when someone tells me what I can say and where I am welcome.

Again, I am sorry if you were offended. I have a life. I think I will get back to it.
