Hey guys, I've been in talks with the president of the car club I hang out with. He owns a business with a small fleet of trucks (more than 3 but less than 10, not sure how many, he has some full size vans and some Chevy HHRs). He's been unhappy with his detailer and is looking to possibly try me out to maintain his fleet. He said the other guy did "everything" for $125. When I asked him to clarify what everything meant, he said wash and wax, interior and wipe down the engine.
So for those services, I would normally charge slightly more than that, but this is a chance to get steady work on a fleet, as well as get my name out there to the club so I think it's a good idea. The vehicles are all vinyl wrapped so for the exterior, a wash and spray down with Meticulous Matte should be all that is needed. He doesn't expect a full shampoo of the interior, just a vacuum and wipe down.
I'm leaning towards taking on the job even though it's less money than I would normally get because I've been having trouble getting exposure. What does everyone think??
