We're looking for some incredible photos that showcase your best work. It could earn you a $100 gift certificate to Autogeek.net for a monthly winner, or a $1000 check at year's end if your work is deemed the very best. Show us your detailing skills and we'll show you the money!

Each month, we'll pick a product line. Participants will detail a vehicle using a product from that line as the last step product (ie., glaze, wax or sealant). The Autogeek staff will pick the photo that shows the most impressive shine. The winner will get a $100 gift certificate at the end of the month and be entered to win a $1000 check from Max at the end of this year.

This month, the brand is Collinite. If you haven't used Collinite, now is a great time to try it because all the products are on sale.

Collinite Waxes

Submit your pictures by posting them on this thread. We will announce a winner at the end of this month. Good luck and happy detailing!

Please do not reply or comment on this thread, just post pics if you are entering this contest!

This is my wife's 2006 Nissan Sentra after DP 4-in-1 wash. Then Collinite 845 applied, with Pinnacle Crystal Mist (original) detail spray wipe down.

The owner also can't stop talking about how well his trucks beads up when he washes it.:buffing:

The owner didn't go to work Monday or Tuesday (60 miles 1 way) after the detail because he wanted to cherish the "shine"

Well..since I FINALLY want to try and win a show and shine contest after multiple submissions I know black is always best in showing off your work...and luckily the owner needs some durable protection to boot...(mainly so he will keep his hands of the car until he pays me to wash it again..(I told him to back away from the Turtle Wax!!!) so out came the dusty bottle of Collonite 845 IW and me accepting the fact that I was about to ruin and applicator pad...and by the way...this stuff is detergent proof..it is still oozing out of my applicator pad...

IMG_2250.JPG

Even after washing with the toughest stuff I had.....XMT pad cleaner 3 TIMES!!!...you can still see Collonite 845 IW oozing out of the pad...no wonder this stuff is so tuff....

Hopefully the Show and Shine WINNER!!

Wow I forgot that the brand this month was Collinite :D

Here's my truck topped with Collinite #845. Please consider that silver is hard to make look as good as black :p

Two weaks ago I was able to find a day to try out my new stuff. :cheers:First tried out the xmt2 with udm on the hood and after 2nd round still had swirls. Then went to po106ff and it did alot better job and removed about 85% of the swirls. Since I had alot of ground to cover I did rest of truck in one pass with that. I followed with jetseal and a coat of 845 befor running out of daylight. After three days of rain and a nice weakend of camping I gave the truck a nice bath and applied a secound coat of 845. The metal flake has never been as pronounced as it is now.
