Thanks Visitor! We have 4 of those beds and they love them.

NO! How'd he manage to do that, Paulie?

Hey Paul, they were running and playing, they ran into the rocks and then I heard a scream, saw him limping and dripping blood.

We thought it was just a nasty cut on his dew claw, vet said he actually severed the dew claw down to the bone, so minor surgery. Oddly his wick is growing back which is good and bad.

Good because he may have a claw again, but bad because they surgically removed everything and this will prolong keeping him coned until the tissues heal and nail regrows.

He just has a tiny wick sticking out which we need to be careful.

He’s fine, not in pain...

My cat Winter:

Here he is laying next to a Wookies Fist

Passed out:

A little thirsty?

Here he is wondering why the wife is yelling at a Duke basketball game a few ago:

He is a spoiled cat, has a glass of water in the bathroom and only will drink out of that unless you have a glass laying around, but no water by his food. Food is to be poured fresh into the bowl and he wants his treats first thing in the morning.

He typically lays out in the yard during lunch time and high school kids go by and pet him and he sprawls out like oh please pet me. They pet him and love on him, pet him backwards. I try to hold him a minute, gives me 30 seconds of love then wants to jump down.

Damn! Give my boy a scratch for me, Paul. That totally sucks. :(

I found these old pics of my cat. These were taken during the very 1st days of meeting her. She was a lonely little stray cat. Not much older than being a kitten and skinny but somehow she was getting by because she was healthy. She made herself right at home from the very 1st day.

She likes food, warm shelter, and of course detailing. Lol.

This is Izzy, our Jack Russel that we rescued about 9 years ago. She is a wonderful companion, so smart. She hosts wants to be with you.

Jack Russel's are so awesome.

Machine gun's in a BB gun body.

About 10 years ago, my friend Bill had two JR's. Bubba & Bella.

Bella (female) borrowed under his shed behind a rat (that had dug his own hole previously of course).

She dug in about 5 feet, and nothing Bill could do would make her back out. She had the rat cornered, and knew it. She was out of reach to try and grab her.

After about 18 hours, he ended up jacking up the shed with a house jack so he could reach her. That dog was NOT backing off of getting that rat. Lol

Owning Terriers is a special assignment for sure. Lol

Izzy chases chipmunks and squirrels under our shed and she will run around that shed until her paws are bleeding. She is 11 now so I kinda watch her and not let her overdo things because she gets honed in on something she won't stop. But what a great dog.

I gave my detailing cart a makeover and left it so clean for my cat to use...

But for over a week my cat wouldn’t come near it, preferring to sleep on the ground! Grrr... Ungrateful cat. Lol.

But as soon as there’s some detailing stuff on the cart... She suddenly loves the cart again. I wake up to find this lazy butt sleeping on the cart.

My Gunny & Russell

This is Gunther (Gunny for short)

When I was an actual "Gunny" I had a Pit Bull Shepherd Mix named Gunny as well. At age 11 he had emergency surgery for an obstructed blockage and died in my arms the day afterward. I was crushed and couldnt speak of him for almost a whole year without breaking down. Even had his cremated ashes sprinkled in the black ink of the tattoo portrait I had done! This Poem truly helped me cope, which I'm sure many of you can attest:
The Rainbow Bridge Poem - The beautiful journey of a pet after death.

In 2012, after an 8 week Residential PTSD Program, I was selected to receive a highly trained TBI/PTSD Service Dog from the first Org to be Federally Recognized for their intense Training Program. I'm sure many have seen the Documentary of "Puppies Behind Bars" and the incredible impact it has on both the inmates, to the Disabled Veterans lucky enough to receive one of their SDs. Russell knows 80 commands and has literally saved my life more than once!
12 Days Of Charitable Giving 2016: Puppies Behind Bars

Though we're trained to only allow our Service Dog to ride on the passenger side floorboard, for most secure transportation, I've found this device to be the most advantageous vest for dogs in vehicles. Once properly fitted, it's a breeze to put on - and allows them freedom to move around in the back seat area too.
Load Up™ Dog Car Harness | Crash Tested Safety Travel Harness | Ruffwear
I use this on long trips in the rear seat and he doesnt seem to mind. Dogs become literal projectiles inside a car during a crash. Imagine the guilt we'd feel if our dog was killed in a MVA!

A few pics of both Gunny & Russell here. Thanks for allowing me to share!

Beautiful dogs and beautiful story. There's nothing like the love of a dog. Here's my two boys Buster and Magglio. Buster is a lab pit mix and I lost him on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It's hard and I miss him like crazy. Magglio the beagle is a ball of energy at almost 9 years old and he's great and he makes me smile everyday.

I took in the stray cat that my cat is friends with... I had him neutered but he’s having complications.
