On yesterday's walk, the cattle came right up to the fence, Buster gets so excited, and at the end, you can see how happy he is that he made some of them move. He has the same reaction when he sees someone on a skateboard.

go easy on the little guy (buster).. he's just sending a warning to the cattle just in case they decide to jump the wired fence and try to attack you... :D

btw, give them both a few scratches for me please... :)

Reminds me of the new game my dog has.

The neighbor behind us has a cat that likes to sleep in our garden, which my dog discovered one day and chased it over the fence. Ever since he likes run at full speed out the back door and bark at the fence. While it can be nuisance, its actually pretty funny. And just to add to the situation, the cat also likes to sit on the shed roof and taunt my little buddy.

Yeah, they are funny. Ziva likes to lie down with her back to the gap at the bottom of the fence. The Staffie next door then comes up and pokes at her with a paw until she gets annoyed enough to turn and bark, the Staffie then moves back and waits, Ziva sits back down and the process repeats itself. Ziva could move away, but she'll sit there for ages, pretending to be annoyed.

And today he spent the afternoon growling at the front door as another neighbors cat sat in the driveway and taunted him.

This is Scrapper, he's a 20 month old German Shepherd. Buster and Ziva love it when he's at the dog park. You really have to watch him though, he has no spacial awareness when he's running around with sticks, he's responsible for quite a few bruised shins. View attachment 72866

may of last year i mentioned this guy-chester. hospice foster.
his time came last thursday. his body was wore out and he was tired. one of the most awesome dogs i have ever known. loved everyone he met and every dog, too. laid at the dog park like grandpa watchin the grandkids.
although its be a bit tough for me, im still blessed to have been a part of his last 10 months.

Sorry for the loss. Putting pets down is such a kick to the gut.

Chester got to live out his last days in style. Not many people would foster a hospice animal.

My hat's off to you, my man. :)

You are a better man than most setting yourself up for that heartbreak to give Chester a great last leg of life. He looks happy in those pics:dogsmiles:

This was our foster dog for about 4 days.
~6 months old.
They said she was shy and needed socializing.
I said it's more like she is 'puppy' and needs training.
She had no issues with any of the humans in our house (2 adults, 2 kids), but didn't like the cat, or at least didn't understand how to play with her.
She loved belly rubs and cuddling......and look at those ears.

Quigley turned 11 today. Wasn't sure he was going to make 10 due to seizures but some stronger meds have gotten that under better control. Always hungry now though.
