This beautiful boy went missing last week. He is one of my gardening clients dogs, he took off after a rabbit when walking along a bush track, yanking the lead out of her hands. Despite best efforts they could not get him to come back or locate him. I'm pretty upset about it as I tend to bond with the dogs while working away in the garden. This guy was just the happiest and loving dog you could ever meet.

Sadly this boy was never found or made his way home.

Today I met a new bundle of cuteness..........

Her name is Tilly and she is a companion for Maggie. Tilly greeted me with enthusiasm and was following me around the garden in no time. Maggie on the other hand took time to trust me and is still a tad cautious when I arrive. As I have said before, these are not my dogs but I always love when they are around and the feeling is the same with them.

sorry to hear about that :( hopefully, who ever has him is taking good care of him and one day he finds his way back home to his rightful owners...

So ol’ meathead (Sage) was in for routine blood work 2 weeks ago, and the tech noticed a small lump on her neck. It was like a tiny mole.

They did a biopsy on it, and it turned out to be a mast cell tumor.

She had it removed today. Here she is all gorked up awaking from the anesthesia.

She’s home tonight. She ate a big dinner and crashed.

Look who's most pleased with himself after chasing the neighbors cat over the back fence!

go easy on the little guy. he wasn't planning on chasing the cat, it just happened to be there. all he wanted was to get his daily outdoor exercise... :D

At least someone in this household is getting in the spirit.........

These two were playing "it's MINE" while I was gardening today.

The little was has now bonded with her older playmate and is proving to be an exuberant addition to the family.

Normally it’s the cat in front of the fire. Today it’s the dog.

Every time I play with a cat, there are two things that happen. One, it is a lot of fun. Two, it looks like my arm was playing with concertina wire.
I'm pretty lucky with this one, he knows it's play. He doesn't use his claws, occasionally he will bite, but not hard enough to break the skin. If he didn't like it, he wouldn't let me do it. My last cat was bigger, and frequently put holes in my arm, even though he knew it was a game as well.
