It's not me. It's the 2 pit bulls on the other side of the fence trying to get to him/her.
I go through this every night. He could go down the other fence line and not deal with this.
Where we used to live in Sydney, possums would climb the trees in the backyard, and the dogs would wake up and bark at them, usually around 2 or 3 in the morning. No trees in the yard at the new house, so no possums, also no leaves to pick up.

We are going to be dog sitting our son’s Velcro dog starting the 26th

I am anticipating some extreme separation anxiety

I’m also anticipating some not happy moments on my behalf because he lets the dog get away with murder

I’m hoping Kaeleigh keeps her worn out

I'm not a professional by any means, but have trained a few dogs for a local rescue group and a handful of friends (the tan dog pictured isn't mine/is in training).

If you can find it order the book "Lucky Dog Lessons" by Brandon McMillan. Most everything that I've learned came from this book.

The biggest thing is to remain calm. You freak out they will freak out.

Good luck!!

Yeah, we see a few on our walks, but the dogs generally aren't interested in them. Most we see are asleep in the sun, so they're no danger. I've only seen one that was really agitated, but it was being swooped by birds at the time.
Gotcha. I thought venomous snakes were a big problem down under.

What about kangaroos? Do you have kangaroos in your neighborhood??
I've always wanted one of those. I hear they smell really bad and will kick the **** out of you

We do have kangaroos living in the farmland next to my neighbourhood, we see them on walks occasionally, I guess they do have a strong smell, the dogs usually smell them before they see them. The big ones are dangerous, but even the smaller ones can mess you up, the ones in the video below are maybe average size.
