Awesome car

I had a friend in high school that had one but it was full primer with Crager SS/T's. I had another friend that had the body style before with the headlights side by side. I had a 1977 Olds 442

This was taken after its first detail.

Nice. Do any corrections yet? I'm working with a 2008 Accord in black (Nighthawk Black Pearl). She's still a 30 footer, but it's only because I really haven't gone past clay yet. Any advise/experiences with compounds and polishes on that clearcoat? Particularly by hand?

Thanks. It's my pride and joy.

I've only used M205 on it. There are only very minor swirls, if any because I wash the car very carefully. In addition, swirls on silver are pretty hard to see.

I know that black honda paint is very soft so if you have only minor swirls then M205 or an equivalent finishing polish would surely do the trick. If you have heavy swirls then you might need to use a compound and for sure have to use a finishing polish (M205 or the like) after.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I'm the same way.

Even knowing what I know now, I'd have still gone with the black, but I'd have found AG a lot sooner. Between my bad wash habits in the past and 117k miles, she's seen a lot of abuse.

I'm hoping to grab a DA this winter, but I'm still by hand for now. I've always wondered about the M205 based on forum recommendations, so I'll have to make sure to pick some up if the DA comes through. Poorboy's Pro Polish and some clay did a bang up job prior to Collinite for the winter, but obviously, she's got some work left.

Well it's not mine but I went to a car show and this showed up. He parked right behind me.

This spring you say? Will you be trading it in or private sale??? I would like to take it off your hands for the right price...I know it's been well taken care of :dblthumb2: Im the MAN

All depends on the price. It has the transferable 100,000 mile warranty too. Hit me up come spring time if you're really interested. ;)

Same here I started around March and have been shooting with my T2i. Recently upgraded to 15-85mm, great lens.

Here was the original.

Right now iPhotos that came with my Macbook Pro. Thinking about picking up Aperture 3 since I got a free 100 gift card.

What editing software did you use?

Outstanding good sir! I'll make a reminder for early March to get back in touch.

Some pictures of my most recent project. Matte white w/a clear coat. Sure is nice not to have to worry about swirl marks...

Little preview from my winter prep. This was my favorite pic out of the 150.

Talk about mirror reflection. :)
