Shutting down the mobile detailing business.

I held a door open for a little old lady one time. Can someone give me some praise

Revolving doors don't count and she was 35

Best of luck in your future endeavours! Just went to dave's website, I don't know if it's ever been posted on the forum but he has a great article on there about the 3 types of detailers...Great Read!

dave, stay in touch....like you I shut down in the winter months too.......but I know you and we respect your comments and input on detailing, So....you are still family and hope to see you here on the forum........walk in peace my friend

I haven't been posting all that much because of a new obsession. (CB radio) Just last night an old friend and employer asked me if I'd be interested in repossessing some cars for him on a part time basis for the next 3 months. While this line of work can be dangerous at times, it is good money so I decided that starting on the 18th of January I'll be trying my hand at being a "repo man". I am no green horn in this industry as I did it as a full time gig for 2 years in the past. This will pretty much consume all of my free time so I surely won't be posting very much here. Just wanted to give a heads up in case any of my forum friends wondered what ever happened to Tuscarora Dave. I'll try to jump in as I can. Happy New Year to all.

Dave,

This was a great and inspirational read.

When we help others and it's truly from the heart there's a feeling of satisfaction, a completeness that comes over us. A feeling of hope, almost a euphoria, that keeps an inner light lit. When I help someone less fortunate there's a look of thank you in their eyes and an appreciation that's both real and sincere.

Good luck Dave and my best wishes and prayers are with you....:props:

Dave, having the wisdom to know what you want to do in life and the courage to actually do it should be held in the highest regard.

I wish you success in all of your new pursuits, however, I hope you stop by on occasion to share your repo stories.

I figured as much (CB Radio) as to where you've been

Repo'n cars is a very intresting line of work. I have a friend that has done this for over 20 years and have road along on several occasions. Every night brings a different set of challenges and obstacles to overcome

Its almost as much fun as going to camp
