That is why I left PA for SW FL. It is 84 right now. My in-laws told me they are so sick of snow but they won't come down to visit. They say it is too long of a drive. They won't fly.

I like four seasons, am fond of snow, and don't really mind the cold, but I've had it this year. The endless days of single digit nights and days in the teens is getting old.

Maybe I'm getting older, maybe it's because I spent a year in a very cold climate living in rather harsh conditions a few years ago, but what ever the reason, my patience for this stuff is running out.

man I love this stuff, I don't mind shoveling it I dont mind driving in it, I love sledding and snowboarding so I'll take every inch we get

However I don't really like the short days, but if that means more snow I'll take it

This is the one and only time I hope this storm doesn't wallop us this weekend since I'm planning a snowboarding trip, now I hope it hits them hard up there so there's some fresh powder

Keep that cute little pup warm :)

Hope you made out OK last night..

Colt Usually lays right on top of the heat register. Yesterday from time to time someone would ask "Where's the dog?" Of course he was laying right beside the kerosene heater.

Power was out for about 6 hours, the generator was the best $300 used purchase I ever made. My neighbors were envious.

By the time I got home from work at 4 the power had come back on. It was out for almost 12 hours.
House was back up to a balmy temp in no time.
Outside we lost a decent amount of branches off our pine trees, but they were all just on the ground... nothing near the house.
We were lucky :xyxthumbs:

Awwww Colt! BTW- I like his little coat... we use coats on the greyhounds this time of year.

My Mom wanted a photo of Colt to submit to the local paper's featured pet of the month section for publication, I gave her that photo and she wouldn't send it in...said he looks mean.

I think he had cotton mouth and his lips were stuck to his teeth.

Well well, let's see if I can add up to the "sick of winter" thread! LOL! :)

Here, in mid-November, temperatures during the night falls to 32 F. In the day, about 46 F.

In mid-December, we got the firsts 14 F and some snow (about 5 inches). Just after Christmas, we got hit by 12 inches of snow in 48 hours.

Just after that, we got 2 weeks of - 40 (feels like) and without winds - 4 F. We were happy because we got 3 days with rain and about 37 F. Felt a bit like spring.

In January, we got back another 12 inches of snow so we could remember that it was winter... :nomore:

Do I still clean my car, yes but only to help the clear stay intact. I know my car will look like crap in 0.1 mile. :awman:

Where is that damn global warming??? :bash:

WHAT? He looks adorable!

Back on track...
I used UPS the last time I cleaned up the car (Saturday).
Not a SNIFFY-type of product... smells like it's killing the Ozone
