I'll be there!
Well if Robert is going to be there how could I not.Louie will not as he hurt himself......AGAIN.Should be interesting using the Mothers line and interacting with the out of work resident comedian named CHRIS.Look forward to your hard work and antics CHRIS.Mike did say rotary buffer...remember that from Mike`s class.Should be fun to see and be with the "A TEAM" in action tomorrow night.:buffing:

Still on for tonight? Rain?

Yes Sir!

Both the truck and the Impala are nice and dry, ready to buff in the garage.

I'm not sure if the guy with the 1960 Station Wagon will show. Maybe? Have to wait and see.

But YES it's game on!

I just finished doing some Test Spots

I tested,

Heavy Duty Rubbing Compound with 4-ply twisted 100% wool cutting pad on Flex PE14

Rubbing Compound with 4-ply twisted 100% wool cutting pad on Flex PE14

Machine Glaze with White Hybrid Pad on Flex 3401

Foam Pad Polish on Black Hybrid Pad on Flex 3401

So far, the Heavy Duty Rubbing Compound is working the fastest and it's the most effective at removing the majority of the swirls and scratches. (As I expected but I wanted to test to make sure).

See everyone at 5:00pm

:)

I hope this isn't too last minute, but please sign me up mike.

Hey Mike! How do you polish the scalloped portions of the rear fenders below the fins?

Great, good to see people joining in.

I feel like watching a soccer game by web feeds... It would be my 'pay-per-view' option for tonight if on TV!

No live broadcast, right?

Thanks, and may all you be blessed tonight. Enjoy!

Kind Regards.

cant wait to see the pictures
You will be pleasantly surprised how well we transformed the paint. The paint was not as bad as I have seen in the garage on some cars in the past in so far as debris and solvent pop but the after care was horrible. We worked hours on it and Man what a difference. The rotary buffer and wool pad made easy work of the multitudes of scratches and swirls. Then to the DA and even better.More to come.:buffing:

+1 waiting for the output on this! Congratulations (in advance) for everyone who participated on this project.

Kind Regards.

Hey guys...

Been here since 7:30am cleaning up the garage but also taking pictures and videos of both the truck and the Impala.

I just started processing the pictures and will start adding some in just a few minutes but not to this "sign-up thread" but instead to the "pictures & comments thread". That's the way I try to do these projects for the last 10 years in the forum world.

Here's where I'm going to put them...

Pictures: 1959 Impala - Mothers Extreme Makeover!

Hang tight...

:)

Great! Please, don't forget that 'table full of PE-14' picture I've saw yesterday, it's pretty. I've tried to show it to a friend today but couldn't find it anymore...

Thanks,

Kind Regards.
