For us new people, I've detailed about 6 cars now, using GG6 inch w/ foam pads, using products such as M105, M205, Megs Ultimate compound, Wolfgang Uber compound & TSR (As far as "corrective products" go) with good results. Far from a "pro" but willing to learn new things and pick things up pretty quick.

That being said, would someone like myself be able to join these Thursday night events? Would love to join in future.

The Thursday night open garage classes are open to everyone. We do ask that you let us know you're going to be here by either replying to the sign-up thread, (that's this thread for this project), or by calling or e-mailing me.

Hi Pete,

I was confused.... my fault. I sincerely thought I had scheduled the Nova for this week but in fact, I has scheduled it for next week. Al Fortuna pointed this out to me also.

This actually works out pretty good however as it opens the door for us to tackle the Meguiar's Semi Truck and Trailer. We'll be buffing out the Meguiar's big rig this Thursday.


So anyone that wants or needs to get some time behind any of the dual action polishers is welcome to join us. You can also show up if all you want to do is help wipe the polish residue off the paint after someone else has polished a section.

And of course, there will be pizza and lots of cold water!

Not to be Debbie Downer but our long time friend Louie and the guy that turned me on to autogeek show car garage just got out of the hospital with heart complications and will not be with us in the garage for a while.Lets all that know Louie wish him well for a speedy recovery.

Just checked the weather forecast and it's pretty much the normal type of weather for this time of year...

I'm sending the owner of the Nova an e-mail right now as a follow-up to make sure we're still on.

Keep in mind that owners of cars like this won't drive them in Florida rain, which can be pretty nasty.

If I have to cancel I will do my best to e-mail or PM everyone that has replied to the sign-up thread and will post that the class is canceled on Thursday if that decision has to be made.

You know what they say about weather in Florida.... if you don't like it just wait 15 minutes...

2nd of all it NEVER rains in Florida, it's liquid sunshine LOL!

3rd SIGN ME UP!

4th if the Nova is a No show I have a 78 Camaro that is kicking my .....Buttocks, fresh (ish) paint heavy orange peel I wet sanded it & polished it using the 3M 123 system & it bled back:buffing: I (obviously) got something wrong time to step up my game.

If you can, bring the Camaro with you as I want to take a look at it. Love the classic Camaros and the color of blue is killer!
