Weather is looking ugly around here.Hopefully it will subside before Thom shows up or it may have to stay in the garage overnight.

Thom asked me rain or shine and said he built this to drive and that means driving it in the rain.

I said, if you'll drive it here then we're on ran or shine.

It's really hard to re-schedule these project cars because other cars are already in line to come to AG.

I'm going out to the garage to set-up and I'm assuming the car and Thom will be here.

:)

Here's two pictures of this car I took this last Tuesday night....

Yeah yeah yeah I know what half of you are thinking....

Wow! it already has a nice finish!

If it truly looked as good in person as it does in the above pictures then I would not have been demonstrating how to remove swirls on the hood last month at Cars & Coffee.

So as is the normal procedure, after this car arrives I'll take some pictures to show you the true condition of the paint.

Mike wants to change the name of the former "A-TEAM" to another name.Jay suggested the "EXTREME TEAM" since we do extreme show car makeovers. What do you guys think.
By the way we knocked this 66 Nova out of the park and ate lots of pizza.:buffing:

Was nice too see everyone again...car turned out amazing..waiting for the pictures
Antti is one of our newer members of the team. You can put a polisher, pad and product (The three P`S) in his hands and walk away. One of the best additions to the garage. We are sometimes short handed on Pro detailers which Antti is.The rest of us have learned much from Mike and we do great work.Mike spends lots of time with the Newbe`s teaching them correct procedures while the rest of us that have been there for awhile do most of the grunt work.It was good to see Mike not having kill himself tonight to GET HER DONE.He`s such a good teacher and he has the confidence in the rest of us so he is`nt there all night. He has a Wife and a Life and us amateurs are privileged to work mano-mano with him.
(Plus we always get to work on cool cars)

Thanks Tim...appreciate your kind words...does that mean I am part of the team now :) ... everyone who comes to those clinics are some of the Mike's best students I believe ... and every single person works hard ... no matter what comes thru those doors ... Mike figures out the plan of action and off we go ... I also feel privileged to be part of those Thursday Night Clinics and working with you guys ... looking forward for the next project...and pizza :)

Mike, based on the pictures of the car from 20 feet away some viewers are going to find this next statement hard to believe until they see your close up and final photos. I believe this makeover produced some of the most "extreme" improvements that I know I've seen in any of the project cars we've worked on in the past year. And again it was accomplished with at least half the folks being new to detailing. Right products, right equipment, right instructions equal outstanding results. Thx, Den.

Had a great time yesterday detailing Thom's Nova. Enjoyed
meeting everyone and learned a great deal from Mike and the
more experienced detailers. Gonna order some product once
I get home so I can start work on my own vehicles. Looking forward to my return next year to see you guys again.

Hello everyone. Was thinking about Mike's request for suggestions for a new team name. I like Jay's suggestion, 'Extreme Team'. I would like to build on that and would suggest 'Extreme Sheen Team' or 'EST' for short. Your thoughts?
