On Thursday, November 17th, starting at 5:00pm we'll have 1969 Camaro Pace Car here at Autogeek's Show Car Garage to get a Show Car Makeover.

So far it looks good for me Mike and I thought I saw on an earlier post Renny was also going don't quote me on the Renny part .

Crud... I was hoping this weeks car would be on Saturday. I will be heading down to Boca Friday evening for the weekend and would have driven back up for the day.

Change of venue...

Just received a phone call from my friend Sharif who owns the black 2004 Chevy SSR letting me know something has come up and he and his SSR won't be able to make it this week.

I'm working on a replacement, no guarantee's but here's a picture of the interior...


I know some of you can identify the Mystery Car just by the seats...

So what's your best guess?

Is it an old Corvette? I think I see what resembles the Corvette flag logo on the paper in the drivers seat...?

That's the funniest thing I've heard all week Garry. Thanks for the laugh.

I can't say I wouldn't enjoy seeing and working on that car because I certainly appreciate the old stuff, but I just never could wrapp my mind around those camaros. I really like the new ones though. Numbers matching is impressive for sure though.

I'm sure she'll look better than new when Mike and his crew is through.
 
I drove a 69' Camaro all through high school. I truly miss that car. Sure was an attention getter.
 
Here's some pictures of the actual car I've taken at two different car shows...

I have not seen the paint close-up in good lighting but like most Special Interest Vehicles, it looks great from 20 feet away and in pictures... we'll see when it arrives here today around 2:30pm. Hopefully the sun will still be high enough in the sky that I can get some shots that show the accurate before condition of the paint.
