I always loved the 71-74 Chargers. The body lines always reminded me of a Coke bottle. My aunt and uncle had a light gold 73 with a 318 that they totalled back in the day. Even that big a car was no match for a snow plow in NY!

One thing I wondered about those Chargers is why there is a foot and a half of room between the radiator and the front bumper?

Is it just me?

I wish I lived in Florida also! I would really like to get my hands on that Mopar.

I hope I get this accurate.

In '69 and '70 Chrysler made the Super Bird and Daytona with a huge extended nose and rear wing to run in Nascar. They were so successful I think that they were banned after '70. I think they only ran for two years but they may have gone into '71. The front end was so fragile that dealers were wreaking them by just moving them around on their lots.

I think some of the front ends were changed to make them more drivable.

Maybe someone else can expand on this and be more accurate but in general this is what happened.

Hi guys

Just changed my plans about and booked into a hotel ten minutes up the road and the bug I got on the plane over has finally knocked me, laid out flat in hotel and very peeved ill miss the nite

Due to Detail Fest and all the work and logistics that take place behind the scene, there won't be a Thursday night class in March.


The good news is my friend Dave will be joining us tonight so we'll be doing March's car tonight.

You missed a great time sir, we had at least 20-25 peps there and the new MT300 was awesome to use especially the added power.
