Lots of interest in the new Menzerna Color Lock Carnauba Wax so we're going to use it on Ken's Challenger...

Ken is going to wash his Challenger before driving it here so when it arrives we'll first wipe it down with Menzerna PR, then inspect for above surface bonded contaminants.

I have not seen the paint yet but I've been told that even though it's a brand new car it came with swirls and scratches, so we're going to try to use the Menzerna PF 2500 to remove any below surface defects and perfect the paint and then seal the paint with Menzerna Power Lock and follow this by topping with Menzerna Color Lock.

At least that's the plan, we'll modify our process after doing a Test Spot.

If the sun is out I'll take some high resolution pictures and some iPhone video to document the true condition.

The sun will probably be out but the wind will be a whipping thanks to Sandy.

Well I guess there goes probably my only chance to caress two Mopars in the same month.LOL.:nomore:

I hate canceling projects but I also don't like putting freshly detailed toys at risk for damage due to weather. Right now it's not bad here at Autogeek but the weather can change so quickly that I'd rather wait till there is no chance of a storm coming through.

:)

Mike I would love to come, this would be my first time and if you will have me I will be there. I love detailing cars and this would give me a chance to learn from a professional. My real name is Chris. Let me know.

Hi all - I'm fairly new to the forums and have been seeing a lot of the recent hype on FG400. I have a Black 2012 Tahoe with minor swirling so I'm really looking forward to this project to see how it turns out.

Good luck! I wish I was close enough to come watch in person :)
