A little info about this car from Kelley Blue Book

The newest addition to the seemingly endless limited-build offerings in its youth-oriented line, the 2012 Scion tC Release Series 7.0 is slated to arrive in dealerships across the country later this summer supported by a promotional ad campaign that features Zeus himself, here serving in the role of the self-proclaimed “god of awesome.”

Like most of its Release Series kin, the new Scion tC 7.0 prioritizes show over go, starting with its exclusive High Voltage Yellow exterior color, effectively set off by a TRD body kit with custom front/rear valences and side sills, a black honeycomb grille insert and gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the 2012 Scion tC Release Series 7.0 gets a unique black cloth interior with custom yellow accent trim elements, leather-wrapped steering wheel with yellow contrast stitching, and the first-ever appearance of a Smart Key keyless entry system that also includes prominent start/stop ignition button plus a numbered Release Series 7.0 badge on the console to denote where it falls in the 2,200-unit production run.

Like all 2012 Scion tCs, the Release Series 7.0 also is fitted with a new, 300-watt, eight-speaker Pioneer premium audio system that includes HD Radio, streaming audio capability, Bluetooth connectively and iPod/USB/AUX inputs.

Pricing for the 2012 Scion tC will start at $19,295 for cars fitted with the standard six-speed manual transmission and $20,295 for those with the optional six-speed automatic. The 2012 Scion tC Release Series 7.0 will open at $21,625 and $22,625 for manual and autoshifted models, respectively.

Pretty cool looking car!

We're going to see what GTechniq can do to restore the paint and amp up the gloss plus coat and protect the entire car.

:)

Should be a fun car to work on! My one question to the owner would be, "Must you pull completely over the concrete barricade?" That first picture makes me nervous for the longevity of that front bumper. :wow:

This car belongs to my fiancé's hair stylist, when I see her next I'll show her the above picture and let her know to be careful. Good eye and good point.

Just talked to the owner, she's owned the car for approximately 5 months. It was purchased new from a local dealership.

She says she has done nothing to it since it was purchased and while it is parked in the garage when at home, it is parked outside 6 days a week here in Stuart while she's at work.

:)

Mike, are you planning on putting the G2 on all the glass?
I just bought a TC RS 6.0 and want to put something on the entire glass, windshield, panoramic roof and hatch glass and I'm trying to figure out how much product I will need. I'm really leaning towards the G1.
Oh, and I will be tuning in to get some Great tips on keeping my new (to me) TC looking good. This "Makeover" couldn't have come at a better time, Thanks!!!

Cool I can't wait!!!

(Sorry, I meant G1, but I think you knew that!)

Just heard from Nikkie, the car owner, she'll have her Scion here around noon and at that time I'm going to wash it using the G-wash and then inspect and polish the paint before we start that way the live broadcast tonight will be simply applying the various Gtechniq coatings to the Scion.

Sean Kelly, an regular user of GTechniq will be joining me tonight to share tips and techniques for using the GTechniq products so share the below link with all your car buddies and be sure to tune-in at 6:00pm!
