Sign up: Detailing class on how to bring a 1993 Ford Explorer back to life!
DATE: Thursday, August 18th starting at 5:00pm here at Autogeek in Stuart, Florida
The project?
My co-worker recently purchased a one-owner, "Eddie Bauer" edition 1993 Ford Explorer with only 97,000 miles on it. So it's 23 years old and the original owner only put 4,200 miles on it a year and maintained it and kept all the maintenance records for it at the original dealership where it was purchased. Even better it has recently had the complete air conditioning system replaced and upgraded. (Real important here in South Florida)
The issue?
She's ugly! By ugly I mean I don't think this car has been washed for months and it doesn't look like it's ever been properly waxed or cared for.
The solution?
We're going to fire all our rockets at this project and see just how much shine we can squeeze out of what's left.
Foam Gun Washing
We're going to start with a THOROUGH washing of the exterior including some really cool products making their debut and also showing how to use a Foam Gun.
