Autogeek's Saturday Detailing Clinics
On Saturday, April 21st from 9:00am to 2:00pm you can bring your car to Autogeek to learn tips and techniques for detailing your car. We open the garage up to registered forum members and let you test out different tools, compounds, polishes and waxes to dial in a system to make your car look like a show car.

Goal
The goal of these events is to give people a chance to:
  • Try out products they may have never used or even known about.
  • Learn the correct technique for applying and removing specific products or using different tools.

The goal of these events is NOT to:

  • Do a complete detail on your car.
If you want to attend and work on your car we ask that you register with our forum and reply to this sign-up thread. Registration and membership on the Autogeek Online detailing forum is free.

Click here to go to the registration page

If you have any problems filling out the registration for the forum you can call us and we will be glad to help you.

***Time to shine!***

Spring is here and summer is on the way, time to shine your ride and learn some tips and technique for getting pro results.

This first detailing clinic runs from 9:00am to 2:00pm. I'm inviting a number of the car from our TV show so there will be some cool rides here getting worked on.

If you've never been to Autogeek's Show Car Garage then make plans to be here for our first Saturday Detailing Clinic.

TNOG's = Thursday Night Open Garage = Autogeek's Saturday Detailing Clinics

Years ago I started the popular Thursday Night Open Garage Clinics for Meguiar's and MeguiarsOnline.com in Southern, California and that's what these clinics are going to be like.

Share the link to this thread with your car buddies...

I'll have two street rods here first thing Saturday morning but as soon as we're done with them it will be time to bring another car into the studio.

The last car Mike Gelter brought here received the show car treatment by the students in my last Boot Camp Class, many who had never used a machine to buff paint...

Not sure what Mike's bringing but it will be cool!

Mike was also on our TV Show with the above 1949 Carryall only when he was here for the TV show we had not buffed it out yet so it was still filled with swirls. You'll see video of it when his episode airs.

Pretty sure were going to do a light machine polish and wax as it looks good but needs to be refreshed, this would be a great opportunity to learn how to machine polish plus get to work on a very cool car.

:)

I'll have the new Hybrid pads out to try this Saturday...

Try them out on the Flex 3401 or the Flex PE14 Rotary Polisher. I'll also have all the different polishers available for anyone to test out...

We'll also be playing with some Muc-Off products this Saturday, so stop on by from 9:00am to 2:00pm

If you've ever wanted to learn how to remove swirls out of your car's finish, here's your chance and I'll show you how to do it with any of the machine polishers you're interested in...
