Sign-up! Meguiar's Semi Truck Extreme Makeover! - This Thursday March 20th

Re: Sign-up: 1966 Nova Pro Touring - Thursday, March 27th 2014

Mike, Robert and I were talking of the logistics of this makeover.Garage or parking lot, truck first then a skilled driver to move the trailer into the garage?Whatever we will be there:buffing:.

As I type, it's Tuesday, March 18th and it's fairly windy and rainy outside here in less-than-sunny, Stuart, Florida.

Here's a screenshot of the weather forecast for the rest of the week.

Thursday shows normal weather for the Stuart ares so we're sticking to schedule.

Hey Mike, this truck is BC/CC?

Yes.

I spoke with Jason Rose about a half hour about this project and after talking to him to get his thoughts tomorrow I'm going to do a little testing and see if we can clean it up using W9027 Finishing Pads on the Rupes 21mm Bigfoot Polisher with an long time favorite, M20 Polymer Sealant.

M20 is a light cleaner/sealant and Jason says the long stroke of the Bigfoot 21 will bump up the cleaning ability of the M20 a tick or two and might just do what's needed in one step.

Plus... M20 wipes off effortlessly. That's going to be important for something this huge.

I'm going to the local Tuesday night car show after work to invite a few more car guys to help out...

Stay tuned...

Tim, I'm good working the high side. Looks like another good crew to work with.

I will b there mike.

Sign me up

Cool. I've added you both to the list.

I've been inviting local car guys at the Tuesday night Stuart Car Show and these same guys when they came to detail fest.

So we should have a number of guys from the local area that show up to help.

The more the better...
