For everyone attending this class you'll be the first in the country to have a chance to test out the new Flex PE* Precision Rotary Polisher.

At least my prototype....

The NEW Flex PE8 Precision Rotary Polisher in ACTION!

Bob Eichelberg and the staff at Flex Power Tools in German were so kind as to let me test out their prototype Flex PE Precision Rotary Polisher.

Here's the prototype I was given, the serial number for this tool is #00003

The prototypes are individually hand-built at the Flex manufacturing plant in Steinheim, Germany. I consider it a great honor to be trusted with this prototype. Here's a picture of the Flex PE8 after buffing out the 1932 Ford Deuce Coupe Hotrod.

You'll note some of the body cladding is not uniform in color as compared to normal production Flex tools, this is not a mistake in the manufacturing process, this is simply an indicator this is a hand-built, prototype right from the manufacturing plaint in Steinheim, Germany.

What a great opportunity to try out a bunch of new products from SEMA!

What a cool opportunity. I wish I wasn't out here on the west coast cause I'd sign up in a heartbeat.

Here's some of the things we're going to be testing out new products on....

1. My truck.

Paint - It's been a while since it's been polished and the paint is showing signs of swirls! So my truck will be a free-for-all meaning anyone here tonight can try out the Sonax, Menzerna or Rupes products on it. Since pj from Dodo Juice will be our guest we'll seal the paint with a Dodo Juice product.

Tires - I put TUFF Shine Tire Clearcoat on my tires over a year ago and it's held up really well. The rear driver's tire has the beta version of our new DP Tire Coating on it for about 4+ months and the shine and darkness is better than TUFF Shine so 2 weeks ago and again this morning I've washed and scrubbed the tires with the DP Tire Cleaner & Restorer and I'm pretty confident I've removed all the TUFF Shine off the tires as they are completely back to looking dull and lifeless. So I want to get 2-3 coats of the new DP Tire Coating on them and with a 30 minute wait time between coats this will take a couple of hours.

2. pj's Black Camaro Rental Car

pj says the paint on the Camaro is filled with car was scratches. He wants to tape the car off right down the middle and only buff out one half of the car. Sounds like fun to me....

3. Whatever shows up.

If you're one of my regular attenders and you want to test any of the new products out on your car including the new Pinnacle Advanced Compound you'll be welcome to to test out whatever new product you're interested in.

I'll be out in the garage around 4:30 as that's when pj will be here.
