I got my order of sik shine and I wanted to hear from you knowledgeable people about this product:
  • have you used
  • how does it compare to other dressings
  • durability
any input will be good

So far I like it I apply it to my upper door panels the rest is all leather gives a rich sheen not to shiny or overwhelming but if you like the satin glow just give a quick wipe.

It's my favorite interior protectant with 303 being my second choice. I like SS because it dries mat and residue free, does not attract or hold dust, has excellent longevity in the Florida sun and has a nice fresh scent.

It's looks great on all exterior plastics and trim and tires, but doesn't hold up long in the wet.

However, it is hands down the best interior dressing ever. Nine months later and it has still yet to fade on my dash. It's dry, very matte, and makes things dark. Best of all, no streaks on smooth plastic.

As for my dash, here is a 50/50 at 5.5 months and still looks the same now at 9 months. As you can see, there is no 50/50 to see because it did not fade.

and here it is versus another dressing. Silk Shine is on the right and look how dark, matte, and non-streaky it is.

Great scent and nice touch for interior. Doesn't hold up for exterior.

Awesome. Months of durability. No oily residue. And had to mount an electronic remote using 3m tape months after an application. Needed IPA to get it to stick.

I can't say enough great things about it.

Plus it's not a pain to get off a surface (or window) if you mess up. And it smells decent too!
