Wow, this shot is stunning! Car is beautiful and the fact that it is the original paint is very impressive. I'm interested in the Japanese wax Authentic Iridium and the Dodo SN clay, are these easy to find?

Thank you for the compliment! As I'm from the Philippines and the Authentic Iridium wax is no longer available here I think that this would be really hard to come by. The wax is made by a Japanese company called Soft99 in case you want to research it online. The clay was provided by my local dealer. I don't see it listed here on the Autogeek store. Oops just looked at the web site of Dodo Juice and it says "Not for sale in the USA". I remember though seeing a picture somewhere in the forum of Detailer's Pro clay and the plastic case looked the same as the Dodo Juice clay.

Soft99 eh? I'm going to check with my friend Kresna on this one. Thanks :xyxthumbs:

Here's a picture of the wax:

And a picture of the car with the Authentic wax applied. Not sure if the picture does it justice but the Authentic wax resulted in a very deep blue color. But one wash and the look started to change.

I have a tub of Soft99's Authentic Premium (the premium product in the Authentic wax line now I believe) sitting in my cupboard. It's a magenta tub and I'll try to get a shot up.

Authentic is a real pain to remove if you don't apply it super thin. The japlish instructions say to let the wax "semi dry", whatever that means.

Yes that's the newer version of Authentic. What I did when I applied my Authentic wax was essentially WOWO before it dried to a haze.

Since you've used Supernatural Hybrid in the past what's your take on the durability?

Very good, from my experience. After six weeks, two tropical storms and a trip to Baguio and back, the sheeting was barely degraded, and the beading, though not quite as tall as it was initially, was still very tight and round. I've no doubt it could easily go two months plus, which is impressive, in our climate (OCW lasts all of three weeks, two layers of BFWD were visibly degraded after four weeks, and 845 was starting to give after six).

that S14 looks so sweet i love that color could you tell me what the paint code and name is mind if i ask what did you use to buff the carbon fiber let me know thanks

Wow that's nice to hear! I was under the impression that it would be inferior to 845. :props:

Thank you! The paint is called Diamond Blue but sorry I don't know the paint code. The carbon fiber hood is essentially treated with the same polishes and waxes for the paint. :)
