10:1 works wonders with engines, tires, wheels and wheelwells. For me works safe on all surfaces... just be careful on painted surfaces.

Did you find any deals on Halogens? I saw they had a single Halogen on sale for like $10 bucks

I've used SG many times over the years. I would caution on leaving the stuff on bare metals for any duration. I use it more to spray and agitate with a brush as a degreaser. Used it on very dirty engines or wheels. Made sure I rinsed real well after. That stuff burns your skin so I say its not safe for painted surfaces.

Bill, I use "SG Max" 1:1 on the engine bay only. That's before DP Engine degreaser came on the scene.

SG for engine cleaning is great. Really cuts the grease and scumb. I won't use it on painted surfaces. Just tried the SG foam on my tires and did a good job of removing the old dressings. SG is biodegradable and helps the enviroment.
