I apologize for not getting "befores" but I'm sure any of you that have driven in the north during the winter can figure out what it looked like pretty easily. I took the truck to a coin op and cleaned it off yesterday. By this morning it was already covered in a pretty good layer of salt, so I decided today was as good a time as any to a FULL ONR wash of my truck. I previously washed the bed to get my feet wet, and today I did the entire truck.

Products used:
ONR at QD strength in a pump sprayer
ONR 2oz to 3 gallons in a Lowes bucket w/ grit guard
Green Chenille Wash Mitt
OPC undiluted for wheels/tires
Perl 1:1 for tires
Stoners IG for windows
303 Aerospace for plastic trim

Anyways, here are some photos. Note: The tires are drip drying from the Perl in these photos. I like to spray the tires on this truck because of the ridiculous ribbing, and then wipe up the excess after some time. It got dark to fast for me to grab the digital camera to get some "real" photos. Once the weather breaks I hope to be able to get some real show and shine threads going.

Looks gorgeous Shawn! You keep taking care of that truck and it'll look new forever....Nothing wrong with that!! :props:

I jot some PERL but haven't tried it yet because winter's set in pretty good here but I will get to it! :dblthumb2:

Looks great! It always feels good to do something nice to your truck when the weather is so nasty.

Can you use UWW in the same manner? I just bought some and I'm still nervous. I do have a 2 gallon pump sprayer and buckets

Truck looks great.:props:

I think I've got a pretty good idea of how the before shots look. That's been the state of my truck for the past few weeks.:(

Thanks guys! It's filthy already since I've put on about 300 miles since last night, but that's life! The snow is thawed and it's raining....gotta love winter!

Bobby, I highly recommend the PERL! It's the best tire shine I've used to date (although I have a relatively limited range of products I've used).

Looks gorgeous! I have always used Opti-Bond on the tires and thought about using PERL. I just have found it is is a pain to put on.

What was your application process for PERL?

1:1 Dilution in an AG spray bottle. I let it soak on the tires for about 10 minutes and then wiped up the excess/drips on the wheels with a black MF.

Not as elegant as some of the guys on here, but effective if you're not in a rush to go anywhere. I drove the truck about 2 hrs later and there was no residue thrown up onto the paint.

If I plan on driving soon I have a black tire applicator that I squeeze product onto and then apply to the tire.

Thanks Shawn! I'll give that a chance - I heard it lasts a little longer.

Looks great!

There is something I love about a clean car in the winter time.
