Smack tours Flex-tools GmbH Germany!

Beautiful write up and picture taking, felt like I was on the tour with you, LOL. See any future projects in the work. Thanks for sharing and posting.

Nice wright up and pictures, thanks a bunch for the post. :dblthumb2:

Very interesting, thanks for the posting the pictures!

Awesome trip Mike! Thanks for sharing it with us! Let me know when your planning on going to the Porsche museum, as I will ask my dealer (the GM) if he knows any contacts in the customer-relations/tours side. He goes to Germany all the time for meetings and other work related things, so I know he knows a bunch of people, it's just if he knows them in the museum side of things. Worst case scenario is no but it's worth a shot to see. :dblthumb2:

Thanks for sharing the tour. Nice to know the craftsmanship that goes into the Flex. :props:

Thanks Frank!

I would love to tour Porsche, they truly do create some incredible works of art. Some of which we rarely see here in the US. Here's one of those works of art that Corey and I had the pleasure of working on when we went to Turkey...(Hope you don't mind me sharing them here in your thread Mike). BTW the valve stem covers on this car were sterling silver, how cool is that!

It will surely be an experience to tour the major German auto manufacturers.

I don't mind at all. I bet that was quite the trip to work on that car in another country. :xyxthumbs:

Nice tour pics !!

Thanks Al!

What a very kool thread to go through. The photos and writeup are so interesting and it's always nice to see how and where tools are manufactured...

Thank you Mike! :dblthumb2:

Thanks Bobby and your welcome!

It was nice to see first hand how the Flex polishers are made.

Dear Mr. Michael Ploesser,

You accomplished your visit to Flex headquarter in a glorious way! Have you asked, Mr. who?! Call me Smack ahhaha ;)

Thank you very much for sharing this with us, the pictures are great and how I see the beauty of PE-14 through your eyes, (I mean, camera lens)!.

Best Regards,

Rafael.

Thanks Rafael!

It was my pleasure to share with the forum. Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice! Way to go Michael. Congrats on getting to do that. :props: What a clean factory.

Thanks Richard!

I am grateful I was able to experience that and also share with you guys. It was a very clean and organized factory.

It is unfortunate that some pre-judge the situation given the Chinese ownership. Good people making a good product.

Nice write up Mike. I just got my Flex so that was very interesting. As a former BMW technician why don't you go the the BMW plant and give us a tour. I don't think they allow cameras though. They should nave a Flex beer mug over there.

Looks like your in Deutchland heaven Mike. Even if I did get send there, I would be right back in the states. There shutting down a CAB there. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Congrats! Have you seen my article on using the 3401 with Menzerna products on hybrid pads?

I plan on touring BMW as well as the other Major German auto manufacturers.

I am in Deutchland heaven Aaron! Loving it over here! Will do!

Okay, seriously... I want one! :props:

Lol! :xyxthumbs:

Leave with any new toys??

You should go to POLISHANGEL GmbH!!!!!!

Maybe....

I would love to tour them as well!!!!

In closing I would like to thank Mr. Mike Phillips for helping me make this trip possible.

No problemo Mike... told you Bob and Suby would give you the 5-star treatment...

Nice pictures too... pretty cool that Flex will let you take and share pictures of their facility and manufacturing process as a lot of companies like this would have a no camera policy.

Pictures remind me of the good times and tour of the Flex facility when we visited Flex a few years ago....
