Hello guys, I have a small but deep paint metal scratch that shows bare metal. Besides repainting the whole thing, are there other alternatives you guys can recommend to fix this?

Touch up paint, multiple layers of it, and wet sanding. There's a step by step showing on how to repair a keyed car. It's should be similar but pretty risky if you have no experience with wet sanding.

Thanks for the advice! Do you have any recommendations on touch up paint brands?

Thanks everyone! I was also reading some how-to's to remove this kind of scratch and it seems I'd need to also wet sand once I have applied the touch up paint.

Follow up question, can I just get away with applying only the touch up paint and don't wet-sand it?

I believe the wet sanding helps blend it better. If not the touch up color may be slightly off or a different shade. Using a light wet sanding at 2000-3000 grit would probably help blend the new paint seamlessly. It is ultimately your choice on what is acceptable.

Thanks af90 I'll get myself some touch up paint for this repair.
