Smart Car Clean Up

I've been noticing a few of these around Columbus lately and was thinking to myself how quick it would be to detail one of these. You obviously put some effort into this job, though--it looks great. Nice job and thanks for sharing! :xyxthumbs:
 
Great job making it look like new! The UTTC looks great on the cowl and trim (of course this car has lots of it), and will go a long way to make the car appealing for potential buyers.

I drove one of these back in 2001. I was working on Fuel Cell Vehicles and we had a Turbo Diesel Smart for a stint imported from Europe. Fun little car, I loved its quirks. But the trans was not fun. Weight distribution also made it not apt for me to drive. A few heavy footed turns and the car would understeer like a 2000hp tractor, got me quite the scare :) For urban living this is perfect. Only if they had imported the TDi version as well (or instead) as the less-efficient gasoline version...

Thank you for the kind words. Its tiny and easy to detail exterior wise. There was quite a bit of trim to detail but that wasnt even that hard to do.

Thank you! I did the best I could to make it look as good as possible without paint correction. It is a fun little car to putter around in but the you are right the trans was not fun at all.
